culture…meet Ted, one of the fab five offering
cosmopolitan advice to culturally clueless men on
Bravo’s hit show, Queer Eye for the Straight
Guy. Ted’s the gourmet guy who knows all and

Ted will offer new and creative ideas for sprucing
up those tried and true chicken dinners as well as
tips on creative food and beverage presentation including

plays a role in the hit show and be prepared to ask
those burning questions during the question and answer
portion of the program.

We
hope you take the time to navigate through the new website,
chat on the forum and find this new design much more user
friendly.
If
you have any comments or suggestions regarding the new design,

November
Conference Recap

The 2005 ISES Indiana Education Conference was a smashing
success!
The Kendall Inn served as perfect venue to host the 62 attendees
from Indiana and Ohio.
The
day began in homeroom with a scrumptious breakfast provided
by new ISES member Mills Catering. Stunning linens, chair
covers, and ties, provided by Chair Covers and Linens, brought
the school theme to everyone’s attention immediately
as they entered the room. Dale Harmon, our keynote speaker
from Washington D.C., challenged and involved us all by
speaking on the topic of “Saying No to a Piece of
Business.” After the keynote session the attendees
made their way to the class of their choice from three outstanding
presenters.
The
student lounge was open all morning for snacks and drinks
again provided by Mills Catering.
After
the first sessions it was time for the delicious and themed
lunch from Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering. Truly the tomato
soup, chicken strips and macaroni and cheese were GOURMET!
Clever centerpieces created by Posh Petals included vibrant
roses nestled in pencil boxes with other school supplies
incorporated. The lunch hour was filled with networking,
book signings, and even homework assignments asking you
describe your worst event disaster and what you did to overcome
it.
The
afternoon included 2 sets of sessions totaling 6 different
dynamic courses. After classes were over for the day attendees
met back in homeroom for graduation, milk and cookies. Pomp
and Circumstance played as more networking took place and
the newly updated ISES Indiana website was unveiled.
Overall
it was a tremendous conference and everyone walked away
knowing more about the exciting industry of special events!

A
huge thanks to our sponsors

Spotlight
Tiffany Wesseler is a third generation florist who literally
grew up in the flower business. The name of her organization
is "Flowers by Tiffany." Tiffany has taken her
years of experience and created a company that specializes
in making special events unforgettable.
Most brides and hostesses have an idea of what they want
their special day to look like, the trick is turning their
vision into a reality. A day to remember consists of special
unique touches that express the personalities of the people
involved and that is where Tiffany shines. Whether is it
a flower that comes in dark brown to match a special monogram
or a pearl necklace woven into a bridal bouquet no detail
is too small. The vision of her company "uniqueness
in design with uncompromised quality" really captures
the artistry with she approaches each new client.
ISES
