TIM LUNDY, CSEP, brings to the event table 31 years of combined training and experience for culinary planning and event design. He is a classically-trained chef from New York and award winning event designer, from personal wedding flowers to high-impact environmental designs, making each wedding event specialized. Tim is a wealth of knowledge for the contemporary Bride & Groom on menu design, event décor and wedding planning.

From coordinating the initial graphics piece to designing your wedding look and creating the balanced menu design complete with transportation, entertainment and custom event rentals, Tim’s event expertise will be your biggest

Mr. Lundy is an international professional speaker on the subjects of Culinary Design, Event & Wedding Planning, and Event Design & Décor for the Association of Bridal Consultants, The Special Event, American Rental Association, International Caterers Association, Event Solutions Expo and International Special Events Society. Tim has produced his first published book called, “Inside the Recipe Box of the Catering Chef”, which was launched February 2009 in Las Vegas at the Catersource Conference.

September Meeting Recap


Some of the most talented industry professionals brought their A game last month at the September meeting: "ISES Planning for the Stars." This head-to-head challenge demanded creating a fab event for VIP celebs like Katy Perry, George Bush, Brett Farve, and the Jersey Shore cast. Creativity was key, budgets were a factor, and success was built on a team effort. Of course, no event runs without a hitch! Each team had to overcome a major obstacle in an effort to wow a guest list of elite superstars!

If we had to pick a winner, it was the Jersey Shore wedding. Complete with pink bathroom stalls and urinals, chocolate dipped man, spray tanbooth, lots of LED lights, and more!

Meet the Board

Sarah Hines
VP of Education/Programs
Accent on Indianapolis

Sarah Hines is the Director of Meeting and Event Services for Accent on Indianapolis. Graduating from IU Kelley School of Business with a dual marketing and distribution degree, her favorite clients are brand oriented or highly logistical. She has been with Accent on Indianapolis, a destination management company, since 2007. Prior to that, she was a Marketing Specialist for a local IT company where she started an events divisions and realized her zest for planning. In addition to providing client services with Accent on Indianapolis, she is a past bachelorette of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Guys and Dolls Auction and has served as the gala’s event-night chair the past two years. She is also involved in Bags2Riches and serves on the board of ISES Indiana as the VP of Programs. Her favorite thing to do in Indy is try out new, local restaurants.

What does your company do? How is it different than others like it?
The Children's Bureau, Inc. is a private nonprofit child and family services agency, licensed by the State of Indiana. Children’s Bureau makes agency services available and affordable to all families and children, offering all services without regard to race, religion, nationality, economic status, sex or handicap. At the Children's Bureau, it is our mission to provide a healthy environment for the families we serve while demonstrating good environmental and financial stewardship in our community.

How many years have you been in the industry?

What was your very first job?
Babysitter…ha. No waitress..

Out of college... Personal Lines Underwriter for an insurance firm.

What lead you in into the event industry?
Volunteered at the Damien Center and enjoyed fundraising events

Why did you decide to join ISES?
Chance to meet other professionals in the industry and learn from them.

What is your most memorable event? Why?
My most memorable event was doing transportation and events for the Indy 500. Not being from Indiana I was only vaguely familiar with the event. Now I understand the excitement and hard work that goes into this event to showcase Indianapolis to the world.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and speak fluent Spanish

If you were not in the event industry, what would be your dream job?
Choreographer
