ISES is Reaching Out to Help the Community
ISES Indiana is lending a hand in the inaugural fundraising event, Chairish the Children, that honors people in Indiana who work with children, for children or on behalf of children. These Hoosier Heroes for Children will be presented and recognized for their commitment and dedication to the future of our state … our children. Over the last decade there were more than 532,000 reports of child abuse and neglect in the state of Indiana. More than 480 children died in our state from being victims of abuse and neglect. The Prevent Child Abuse Indiana Organization needed volunteers to help create a wonderful event to celebrate the children. The event is an auction of one-of-a-kind children's chairs by Indiana artists and celebrities. Chairish the Children will be Saturday, November 9, 2002 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Union Station. If you can lend your time and support for this great cause as well as representing ISES Indiana, call Kari Strolberg at (317) 356-9617. Learn more about Prevent Child Abuse Indiana at www.pcain.org.
